Challenge

This problem was not only about attitudes toward credit, but about attitudes toward life itself. It was deeply cultural and difficult to shift, which meant only a brand at PrivatBank's scale could start moving it.

Insight

A loan does not have to be a lifeline. It can also become the driving force behind meaningful life changes, depending on the goal. Business already treats credit as an investment with delayed and long-term value, so we offered individuals the same positive attitude toward cash loans.

Strategy

PrivatBank decided to move cash loans out of the "extreme measure" category and present them as a tool for personal upgrade. We focused on three common situations where money is needed now but creates a long-term effect: home repair, education, and improving a home's energy efficiency.

Unlike competitors, the tone of voice was not humorous but intelligent, optimistic, and supportive — the voice of someone who believes in you and starts an important conversation about loans that improve your life.

Idea

We encouraged people not to postpone life for later, but to act right now and make their dreams come true. The videos literally showed that a cash loan sets the pace for both change and life itself.
